I feel sympathy towards the Fernandez
family, a nuclear family, but with quintuplets instead of just 2 or 3 children.
Two of their five angels died recently, mainly because of lack of financial
support for hospital services. The poor family is under observation by the
doctors at
Their hopes were brought up when a public couple, 2010 Vice Presidentiable Mar Roxas and ABS-CBN News Anchor Korina Sanchez, gave a promising P20, 000. 00 to the needy family. For medical support, they said.
But after the humanitarian effort was publicized, what happened? Where is the help now that two of the Fernandez children died of untreated complications? Where would the three remaining Fernandez offspring get cure for their hernia, now that their only ray of light, supposed to come from the Roxas-Sanchez, is clouded in uncertainty.
This is off from the image Roxas branded himself with. He was the one who sought the family and volunteered to get them out of the medical dilemma. After putting himself and the family in bright news limelight, with the help of his Korina, and the meager P20, 000, nothing came next.
Gary Fernandez, the father of the quintuplets, ushered in disappointment that their babies Korina Ysabel and Marie Loralaine would not have died had Roxas fulfilled his promise of helping the family, and that the other babies, namely Sarah, Erika, and Wenna Mavinia, could have been saved from complications already.
Now, with Mar making a poor family stuck between his array of gentle-imagery and 2010 national elections, you think he’s still the candidate to be voted as top?
Where will he take the country’s poor families if he was seated in a higher office?
